Supporting Sponsors

City of Cape Town On behalf of the City of Cape Town I would like to wish cyclists, sponsors, organisers and members of the public a successful 2011 Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour.Cape Town wants to be known as “Cycle Town”, and that is why we are hard at work establishing our network of dedicated cycle tracks all across our beautiful City.

Not only will we be famous for our events, our concerts and our tourism riches, we will also be one of the cities where you can cycle from your home to your office in safety.

The first cycle lanes are already open to the public – from Blouberg to the CBD – and more will follow. Try it out while you’re putting the finishing touches on your training, and tell your friends.

Enjoy the race. We look forward to welcoming you back to Cycle Town in 2012

Mayor of Cape Town
